Houses of Horoscope and Medical astrology

Among all houses 6th, 8th, and 12th houses are main trouble giver. 6th house gives diseases for short period of time but 8th house can give very long term and fatal diseases, especially when Saturn joins the combination. Rahu and Ketu are the planets who indicate undiagnosed and incurable diseases.

Sun and diseases in Medical Astrology

Planet Sun signifies vitality and is considered to be the karaka of bones. It generates heat, and intensifies dryness.

It signifies bone structure, blood, brain, stomach and bile, digestive fire, heart, eyesight, gall-bladder, spine, belly, hereditary from father, overall health.

If it is weak or afflicted or somehow badly influenced in the horoscope, it gives the native very weak eye-sight, headaches, erratic blood circulation, heart trouble, bone fractures, over heating fever, blood pressure, baldness, neuralgia, bone cancer, weak immune system etc. During the dasha of Sun, the native has to suffer from problems related to the body parts ruled by it. If somehow it is weak or badly afflicted or influenced in the horoscope, any kind of psychic problem may prevail and beside that it will give sleep disorder or insomnia, lethargy, drowsiness, neurological disorders (though it mostly depends on Mercury, Ketu), mouth problems, lung problems, blood pressure problems, anemia, enlargement of spleen, diseases of uterus and ovaries, menstrual disorders, T.B., frequent cough, cold, lack of appetite, fever, general weakness, sea sickness etc. In case of mental diseases, it gives hyper-sensitivity, over-reaction type of problems. Rahu is a planet of vata in nature. Ketu and diseases in Medical Astrology

Ketu is very much explosive in temperament. It governs the Pitta. If somehow it is weak or badly afflicted or influenced in the horoscope, it gives injuries, throat related problems, wounds, diseases of nerves, diseases of spine, surgery, inflammations, ulcers, low blood pressure, deafness, addictions of any kind, skin diseases, defective speech, spasm, diseases related to central nervous system, suicidal tendency, feet etc.

Twelve houses & Diseases

Apart from nine planets, all the twelve different houses in a horoscope represent human body parts and diseases related to them.

Let us have a look.

First House represents self and longevity, total health, appearance and complexion, vitality, head, brain, face and skull of a native. If the first house in our natal chart is weak then it results in a sickly constitution, thereby leading to headache, mental tension, paralysis, giddiness, wounds, scars, erratic activity of endocrine glands, derangement, brain fever, stupidity, nose bleeding, etc.

Second House signifies right eye, nose, mouth, tongue, facial bones, throat, upper neck, mouth, teeth, gums, larynx and gullet etc. Diseases mainly arising out of a weak venous system shows a weak second house in your natal chart.

Third House symbolizes shoulders, arms and hands, right ear and collar bones, thyroid gland, respiratory and nervous systems etc. A birth chart showing a weak third house brings problems of respiratory canal, disorders of thyroid, imbalances in the nervous system, depression resulting in partial paralysis, stammering, shoulder pains, fracture in the collar bone region, partial deafness, respiratory diseases, asthma, tuberculosis, etc.

Fourth House rules breasts, chest, lungs, stomach, elbow joint etc. If the fourth house is weak in your horoscope it results in coronary problems, physical ailments of breast, chest, heart and lungs' disorders, mental disorders, lunacy and the problems connected to the circulatory systems. Affliction of the fourth house by the sign of fire with Mars aspects indicates surgery in digestive systems whereas with watery sign affliction, diabetes.

Fifth House represents stomach, liver and spleen upper belly, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, spleen, colon, diaphragm, spine and spinal cord, pregnancy, etc. Diabetes, peptic ulcers, anemia, colic pains, stones in gall bladder, acidity, spinal cord disorders, dyspepsia, diarrhea, pleurisy, heart problems, etc are implications of weakness of the fifth house. If the 5th house is afflicted with airy sign it leads to mental illness, lunacy etc.

Sixth House stands for digestive system, kidney, large intestine, colon, uterus and anus etc. Diseases related to body parts like waist, navel, lower abdomen; kidneys, small intestine, upper part of large intestine, intestinal function, appendix, etc are mainly due to a weak sixth house in your birth chart.

Seventh House signifies private parts, glands, buttocks, lower back, renal system, adrenals, ovaries, kidneys and lower half of the back, pelvic girdle, lumbar region, bladder, lower part of large intestine, inner sexual organs uterus, cervix, testicles and prostate gland, etc. Thus a horoscope with afflictions in the seventh house results in venereal diseases, arthritis, gout pains, urination problems, impotency, sterilization, renal problems, nervous and psychological problems, sexual disorders.

Eighth House represents sex organs, bladder and the muscular system, scrotum and anus, outer sexual organs, excretory organs, pelvic bones. Health disorders like fissure, impotency, piles, urinary infections, boils, chronic diseases, etc are due to a weak eighth house.

Ninth House symbolizes The parts of the body ruled by the ninth house are thighs, left leg, thigh bones, bone marrow, hips, hip joints and the arterial system .Hence a weak ninth house indicates low productivity of blood, talassemia, leukemia, high fevers, diabetes, rheumatism and troubles in hips and thighs, etc. Fracture of knee joint or knee cap is possible with an afflicted 9th house that is aspected by Sun.

Tenth House represents body parts like knee and kneecaps, joints and bones. Health related problems like arthritis, broken knees, inflammation of joints, general weakness, skin diseases and allergies, emaciated body, etc are due to a weak position of the tenth house.

Eleventh House indicates calves, left ear, left arm, circulation, legs, left ear, teeth, ankle etc. The eleventh takes care of the body organs like shanks, ankles, shin bone. Circulatory problems, fracture of the lower portion of legs, pain in legs, problems of low productivity of blood, cancer of leg, etc. Generally happens when the birth chart of an individual shows a weak eleventh house.

Twelfth House represents left eye, lymphatic system, feet, teeth etc. A weak twelfth house causes sleep disturbances and weakens the immunization power. An afflicted 12th house occupied by Venus makes the person sterile. There are chances of serious eye defect or even blindness when the moon is posited in afflicted 12th house.
